Apprentice – Production Stitcher & Sewing Room Operations Associate

The Opportunity
We are hiring for an Apprentice Production Stitcher & Sewing Room Operations Associate—a role designed for someone who wants to learn, grow, and build a long-term skillset within a specialized production environment.
This is not a repetitive factory job.
This is an opportunity to:
- Learn the full production process
- Develop advanced stitching and construction skills
- Understand how a small, growing production business operates
Whether you are seeking part-time (20 hours) or full-time (36–38 hours), this role offers flexibility while building a meaningful career path.
A Day in This Role
This is hands-on, focused, detail-oriented work.
You will:
- Work primarily with stretch fabrics (80% polyester / 20% Lycra), as well as cotton blends and polyester mesh
- Learn how fabric behaves under tension, stretch, and recovery
- Operate industrial machines with precision
- Follow construction standards and patterns
- Repeat techniques until they meet quality expectations
- Move between stitching, cutting prep, and organization
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and structured workspace
This role requires patience, consistency, and pride in execution.
Key Responsibilities
Stitching & Construction
- Operate industrial sewing machines with precision
- Follow patterns and technical construction standards
- Maintain consistent seam quality
- Inspect finished pieces for quality control
Cutting & Production Preparation
- Learn pattern layout and fabric utilization
- Accurately cut materials to specification
- Assist in prepping materials for production flow
- Support fabric and supply organization
Sewing Room Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized sewing environment
- Assist with machine setup and readiness
- Learn workflow systems and batching processes
- Contribute to efficiency as the company grows

Compensation & Benefits
- $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
- Flexible scheduling:
- Start times at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM
- End times at 3:00 PM or 5:00 PM
- Part-time (20 hours) or Full-time (36–38 hours) options
- Paid Time Off (PTO)

Growth Path

Many of the customers that visit us arrange an appointment and some may travel up to two hours to be fitted by our experts.
