Nursing Boutique
Located within Bra~vo intimates, the Bra~vo Nursing Boutique is the first of it’s kind in the metro area. This boutique has the largest selection of nursing bras ranging from C to I cup in styles for today’s moms as well as a full line of Medela breast pumps offering consultations on successful pumping and breastfeeding. To ensure a high success rate we offer follow up consultations and help along the way. In addition to nursing items you will also find information on lactation consultants, support networks for the mom to be and new moms.
We stock styles from Anita, Medela, Bravado, Le Mystere, Freya, Fayreform, elomi and Goddess just to name a few, and along with the Medela line of breast pumps, and accessories for nursing mothers. Our boutique gives the new mother or mother to be a comfortable and homey atmosphere to try on many styles of nursing and maternity bras and of course to be expertly fitted.
When you are pregnant we recommend to be fitted for a maternity bra as soon as your bra feels snug. Keep in mind throughout your pregnancy it is not unusual to change bra sizes up to 3 times. Getting fitted in the beginning of your pregnancy will ensure your comfort and minimize any stretching of the tissue. During pregnancy and breast feeding your bust is at its heaviest and it is very important to keep yourself supported in a properly fitted bra. This will help you keep your shape!
We recommend that you be fitted for a nursing bra approximately two weeks prior to your due date. This way you can pack your nursing bra in your hospital bag and feel prepared for the special day.
During your appointment we will also assist you in becoming familiar with a breast pump, giving you a private demonstration and answer any questions you may have. This is the time for the mom to be able to learn to operate a breast pump and ask all the personal questions she needs. Knowing and asking questions prior to delivery will help ensure a higher nursing success rate.

We spend approximately 45 minutes with each new customer to ensure a proper fit. Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed with the nursing process; here you can feel comfortable to ask questions and try a pump in private.
